For the past few years, I’ve been making music primarily with the Moog semi-modular synths. After years of using a computer to compose, I wanted a way to make music that didn’t rely on multitracking layers of audio into my computer and that felt more immediate, tactile, spontaneous and fun. Landing on this setup was instantly inspiring because there was no Undo button, no way to save a preset or come back another day to finish an idea. Everything had to be done in the moment and that led to better concentration and frankly more productive and enjoyable sessions of music making.

Each track in this collection is a snapshot from that day's work. I never intended to make a “song” or even a finished piece of music. Only to explore an idea and let myself wander. This album is a collection of those days where things clicked for me. Written and recorded on the date of the track title.

Thanks for listening!
